Vegas

Ladies of the night,
Jokers in the streets.
Lights glore,
As the music beats.

She never sleeps,
She is always alive.

I walk the streets and am handed cards,
  My mother rejects.
I walk the streets and tricks are played,
With a laugh here and there.
I walk the streets blinded by flashes,
As everywhere I look, Thomas Edison leaves his mark.
I walk the streets with my ears drumming,
We dance to the lively melodies.

She is criticized for her drugs, sex, and money,
But her personality is so much more.

She shall never sleep,
She shall never go blind,
She shall never go deaf,
As Vegas is the place to be.
